FAQs
Will you judge me, my home or my situation?
Absolutely not.
Many people feel embarrassed about the state of their home, unfinished projects, or feeling overwhelmed during a life transition. My role is simply to meet you where things are and help you move forward in a supportive, practical way.
Do I need to clean and organize before you come?
No, in fact, it’s best if you don’t.
Seeing things as they are helps us understand where to start and what will make the biggest difference.
What actually happens during a session?
We work side-by-side to sort, simplify, and organize what’s currently overwhelming you. Whether that’s a space in your home, an unfinished project, or a life transition that needs structure.
My role is to guide the process, help you make decisions, and create simple systems so things feel clearer, lighter, and easier to manage moving forward.

Will you make me throw things away?
No.
You are always in control of what stays and what goes. My role is simply to guide the process and help you make decisions that feel right for you.
Do you help with more than organizing homes?
Yes.
While many clients first reach out for help with their home, I also support people who feel overwhelmed by projects or major life transitions such as preparing for a move, downsizing, or organizing projects that feel hard to manage alone.
How do I know if I’m ready to work with a professional organizer?
Many people reach out after trying to manage things on their own for a long time.
You may be ready for support if you feel overwhelmed, avoid certain areas or tasks, struggle to maintain organization, or feel stuck and unsure how to move forward.

How long does the organizing process take?
Every situation is different, depending on the size of the space or project, how much we’re working through, and how quickly decisions are made.
As a general guideline:
-
Small spaces like a closet or pantry can often be completed in 3–5 hours
-
A home office or larger storage area may take 4–8 hours
-
Larger rooms or more complex areas or projects may sometimes take multiple sessions.
During our consultation we’ll talk through your goals and create a plan that feels manageable, productive and always within your budget.
