Will you judge me, my home or my situation?
Absolutely not. I understand that life gets busy, things accumulate and circumstances change. My focus is on helping you move forward, not how you got here.
Do I need to clean and organize before you come?
Not at all!! In fact, it's helpful to see your space as you normally use it. This gives me a better understanding of what's working, what isn't and where we can make improvements. No need to prepare or apologize.
What happens during a session?
We start by discussing your priorities and deciding where to focus. Then we get to work sorting, decluttering, organizing and creating practical systems that work for you.
Do I need to be involved in the process?
That depends on your needs and preferences. Some clients prefer to work beside me, while others want me to take the lead. I'll always involve you where decisions are needed and take care of as much of the practical work as possible.
Will you make me get rid of things?
Never. Your belongings and decisions are yours. I'll help you sort through what you have, explore your options and make thoughtful decisions about what to keep, donate, sell or let go. My role is to guide and support you, never to pressure you.
Can you help with downsizing, moving or aging parents?
Absolutely. I help seniors, individuals and families simplifying their homes, sort through belongings, prepare for moves and manage the details of downsizing.
Can you help if I'm supporting an aging parent from a distance?
Yes. I can provide hands-on organizing and downsizing support while working with family members to establish priorities, coordinate details and keep everyone informed. We can discuss your family's needs and determine a practical approach that respects your parent's wishes and decisions.
Do you offer business organizing and project support?
Yes! I help small businesses, entrepreneurs navigate basic business start-up tasks, establish practical systems and move projects forward. With over 20 years experience in corporate business leadership, I bring planning, problem-solving and hands-on support to projects of all sizes.
How much does it cost and how do I get started?
My standard rate is $75/hour +GST, with a special rate of $65/hour +GST for seniors aged 65+. Larger or specialized projects may be quoted seperately. I offer a complimentary 30 minute consultation to discuss your needs, answer any questions and explore how I can help. There's no pressure and no obligation, just a conversation to get started.
